PAST TASKS/PROJECTS 

( The following tasks have not been used by any of the brands or companies mentioned. The projects completed were purely for experience and leisure given from past 2nd stage interviews. 

MR BIGGS VS PUMA VS BEAR

‘’ Robert Biggs was enjoying a hike in north California, when he spotted a mother bear with a cub. He took a few moments to take in the sight, before he turned to leave. Only, nature wasn’t finished with him just yet. A mountain lion jumped onto Mr. Biggs’ back which caused him to collapse onto his knees. He then struck the lion on the head with a rock pick as he fought for his life. Then his hero intervened. The bear that Mr. Biggs was watching earlier, grabbed the lion and pulled it away from Mr. Biggs. The two large animals began to grapple. Only for the lion to wriggle out of the bear’s grasp and run away to fight hikers another day. Mr. Biggs did get some nasty cuts thanks to the lion, but without mamma bear around, it could’ve been much worse.’’

BRIEF:

The following design will be used as a thumbnail for Be Amazed Media YouTube channel. The task is to depict the story above as a  scene photoshopped using photographs, so that it looks like a real scene using pictures online or created by yourself to make this image.
- The composition/canvas size must be 1280x720.

- The scene must be believable and should avoid looking fake so lighting and choosing correct images must be considered.

- Clarity, the viewer should be able to clearly make out what the thumbnail is depicting even when
the thumbnail is shown on a small phone screen. consider using a background that isn’t too cluttered.

IDEA/EXECUTION:
 

In order to craft the image, I incorporated six distinct images sourced from Freepik to effectively depict a scenario in which a bear frightens off a cougar following an altercation involving Mr. Biggs. These images were arranged in a left-to-right composition, with each element strategically layered in front of one another. The realistic aesthetic was achieved through the utilization of Photoshop, where missing details such as fur, grass, right-facing pupils, and blood stains for the puma and bear were meticulously added. Furthermore, After Effects was employed to produce a 3D animation for the two-dimensional photograph, serving as an additional feature to enhance the overall depiction of the scene.

LEWIS CAPALDI'S SEXY PIZZA

BRIEF:
 

Big Sexy Pizza is a frozen food brand by Lewis Capaldi, the task is to create an animated asset for April fools day for their Instagram page.  As an outlandish brand, they want to do something memorable. They would also like the asset to be very lightly animated. The task is to digest information about the brand + their creative style & then create a 1:1 asset based on your idea.

IDEA/EXECUTION:

​I was inspired by the past pranks of food chain brands through their absurd or even ironic ideas. Simple, but memorable. I researched his manifesto for the brand and his general favourite foods. I came across an article that said Capaldi is no longer vegetarian, and following his post on his weight gain from his favourite food/ hatred for veggies or fruit, I thought of a product he might like. And find funny. 
The singer being from Scotland, pizza is often eaten deep fried with added meatless carbs such as batter and chips. which became the perfect vegetarian option to add as third pizza flavour. a Lewis Capaldi vegetarian option. Inspired by Scotland's favourites. 
The colour scheme 
( green and yellow) was inspired by veggie school dinners with green trays that was often associated with mac and cheese/ chips

 

TERREX ADIDAS DIGITAL ASSET

BRIEF:

​focus on displaying engaging formats by preparing two animated assets for the new Terrex hiking shoe. make sure to consider:-

- Include details about the strategy, creative insights, important information about production, etc- Position TERREX hiking shoe as a top-notch, versatile outdoor performance product.
- the challenge is to find the right balance between highlighting performance innovation and driving mass appeal
- product concern: doesn't look as stable as a traditional hiking shoe, but is light and fast.
- priority benefits: lightweight/agile, midfoot stability and arch support, grip, heel stability, waterproof (one version)

IDEA/EXECUTION:

the idea was to highlight the shoe's versatility for any activity or any weather. which to me was the biggest selling point in the UK. my angle was to keep both assets quick,  easy to understand and to the point. to execute both assets, I used images and video assets from Freepik and edited using a mixture of premier pro and photoshop.

TOTE BAG DESIGN FOR KINGSTON FIRST YEARS

My 2022 entry for the new first year tote bag design. Brief: Inspired by the students of Kingston University

 I designed the winning entry for a Christmas card competition to be sent to the Kingston University Alumni in 2022. Brief: Must be inspired by Kingston Upon Thames.

BRAND:

Kairiti Kringel is a potential pastry supplier that introduces Artisan cafes to a  Scandinavian  sweets palette that functions as A back of the kitchen social media run business operated by a mum that loves to bake nostalgic goods from back home.   

The MENU consists of: 
Biscuit Cake, Cinnamon Rolls, Kringel, 
Lentil Soup, Curd Traybakes, Cheesecakes and Granola Pots

IDEA/EXECUTION:

In order to create a logo, i used illustrator to feature my client in traditional Estonian clothing baking her famous Kringel. The design reflects Estonia's general  simplistic Scandinavian branding. Blue and white. 
I then took a few photographs of her most beloved dishes and photoshopped a few mock ups of her branding being put to use as it would feature in local cafes and events. Stickers would be the most cost effective and simple way to start.

BRIEF:

The Broadening Horizons marketing consultancy are looking for a promotional campaign for a grad jobs live event taking place in Wimbledon for prospective university graduates to attend. the task is to works as part of a HR team to create a survey, a logo and a promotional trailer informing students of the event and to then pitch the idea to the HR board.
